Oil heating produces the most comfortable heat there is. Because it burns at high temperature, oil quickly achieves your preferred level of comfort. Furthermore, oil heating allows you to add complementary systems to improve your comfort, such as a central air conditioning, a heat pump, a humidifier, or an electronic air filter.

More efficient

30 years ago, an average home with an oil heating equipment consumed 4,927 liters per year. Today, that volume has been reduced to 3,032 liters per year—an improvement of almost 40%. Oil systems burn cleaner than ever and oil-heating appliances last longer. In addition, an oil water heater can heat domestic water five times faster than an electric water heater because oil produces a hottest flame than any other source of energy.

Cleaner

With today’s advanced systems that reach up to 97% efficiency, oil heating is much cleaner than it was 25 years ago. This increased efficiency has considerably reduced particle emissions, which translates into a cleaner environment. 

Safer

Ongoing research and development at Granby Industries has allowed the fabrication of advanced technology oil tanks such as Granby’s ECOGARD, which are made of steel and equipped with a double bottom and a leak monitoring device, whereas others, like Granby’s 20PLUS tanks, are coated on the outside with a leak-proof polyurethane membrane. This new generation of oil tanks come with a 15, 20, 25 or 30 year* warranty depending on the type of product, and with a $2 million liability insurance. This means durability, safety and of course, peace of mind.
